If you are deaf or hard of hearing and want to live in East Nashville, we have just the place for you. Currently under construction and with Phase I (20 apartments) opening in 2010, 701 Porter will offer 32 affordable, one-bedroom apartments designed specifically for those with hearing impairment.

• four-event visual alert system (telephone, doorbell, front desk visitor, and weather)

• two resident lounges with kitchens.

In addition to housing, 701 Porter will also have neighborhood community space and a number of small retail outlets. A Montessori preschool opened its doors in August 2009!
